Children in Need Fund Donation:
In the summer of 2001, West Texas Centers established a Children In Need Fund to assist children and adolescents receiving mental health services that have limited resources within their own families. The fund is set up to help families with costs outside the ordinary day to day living expenses. To date, the fund has been able to pay for things such as:
- School clothes
- School supplies
- Specialized camp tuition
All requests for expenditures are initiated, considered, and processed by our staff. 100% of donated funds are distributed directly to children and their families. The fund is a resource for any child/adolescent receiving mental health services in our service area which includes 23 West Texas counties.
